VISION
Born in Paris, La Parisienne is an authentic and independent craft brewery – we proudly brew all of our beers in Pantin.
As a pioneer of the Parisian craft beer movement, we have been committed to the development and democratization of craft beer.
Our team is passionate and only has one guiding principle : the product. Besides our permanent range, we also offer a range of seasonal & one-off beers.
Our beers are always creative, and sometimes a bit extreme : our brews will make you discover the taste of true craft beer and its amazing variety.
La Parisienne is certified organic and is looking to promote an environmentally friendly economy on a day to day basis: organic ingredients, hops grown in our urban fields, spent grain recycling and many more actions.
We strive to promote an environmentally friendly economy by simple day to day actions : all our beers are brewed with first rate organic ingredients.
The brewery is also the foremost urban hop grower in Paris with more than 600 hops currently planted within the city limits, and a lot more to come. Our long term aim is to use hops exclusively grown in our fields.
We also engage in recycling of spent grain, and are at the forefront of bulk beer for retail outlets and the return of bottle deposits. The brewery is, among other things, a founding partner of the Second Life project – the recycling of spent grain in food products.

OUR HISTORY
Jean Chancel comes from a winegrower family and became passionate about beer while travelling abroad to sell his family’s wines. He witnessed the craft beer revolution firsthand in the US, and decided to create his first brewery in 2011 : la Brasserie Artisanale du Luberon.
Building on that experience and himself a Parisian, he vowed to bring craft beer back to the city and founded the La Parisienne brewery in 2014, at the bottom of la Butte-aux-Cailles in the 13th arrondissement. The brewery then moved to Pantin in 2016, occupying a nineteen thirties factory.
